40 museums joined together under a single name, to highlight cultural activities of a large territory.
A territory which recounts itself through its museums. This idea supports the project, which since 2001 has brought together 15 municipalities between the Agno Valley and the Brenta Canal, including the Leogra Valley, the foothills of Alto Vicentno, the Tonezza del Cimone Plateau and a part of the Sette Comuni (Seven Commons).
Musei Altovicentino gathers structured museums and smaller but no less significant organisations, including collections, sites, historic gardens and botanical gardens, visitor and interpretation centres. In some cases, they are the result of research and collections of volunteers and individuals from local communities, involved in the management of institutions and activities.
