The different living spaces in our grandparents’ and great-grandparents’ houses have been reconstructed in various rooms of the Museum. At the entrance you can see the colonnade and once inside there’s the kitchen and a store room under which there is a cellar for processing pig meat. The other room on this floor is devoted to the activities of a “malga”: a mountain milk and cheese processing farm. On the first floor you come to the old folks’ bedroom and as you pass you will see a corner of a school from when children used quill pens to write with. On entering the new areas of the exhibition you will see the clothes people wore, sheep farming activities, and the production of straw and “fastughi” (very thin strands of straw to make braids), from the preparation of the soil to the production of baskets and hats.
